Leadership Assessments

If one person tells you that you have ears like a donkey, ignore it. But if two people tell you so, get yourself a saddle.
— Proverb

Roughly 70 percent of executives believe they are in the top 25 percent of their profession in terms of performance. Many are genuinely unaware of the way their behavior impedes their own and others’ functioning. The result is a serious gap between what many leaders do, and what they think or say they do. Properly designed, 360-degree, feedback questionnaires enable leaders to compare their self-perceptions with the observations of colleagues and others who know them well.

At KDVI we use a complete range of assessment processes, based on your needs such as culture surveys, focus groups, individual interviews, and behavioral observations. We offer tested and validated 360-degree feedback surveys, as well as customized data collection and analysis processes for more complex requirements .which together give a fully rounded picture of the leadership style and culture of an organization. We help clients determine desired leadership characteristics for their specific organizational context.

Our Instrumentation
We have our own proven, innovative, multi-party leadership assessment tools developed by Manfred Kets de Vries. Based on his research, we have designed a number of complementary, world-class, 360-degree instruments online:
The Global Executive Leadership Inventory (GELI)
The Personality Audit (PA)
The Leadership Archetypes Questionnaire (LAQ)
The Inner Theater Inventory (ITI)
The Organizational Culture Audit (OCA)

These individual and team-oriented instruments help decipher various leadership styles, , the complementarities of roles in teams, and the nature of the organization’s culture. They initiate change in manifest actions, behaviors, teams, and culture and become the foundation of discussions about the organization’s future.

KDVI provides expertise on managing and developing executive teams, and works with clients to implement a team development process.

We will help teams address issues such as:
- gaining focus
- aligning around a common purpose
- clarifying roles
- understanding different leadership styles (and looking for complementarities in styles)
- resolving overt and covert conflict
- improving business processes, managing change, understanding communication styles
- increasing productivity.

We also help clients determine the gaps in their collective leadership skills and attributes. In addition, we help organizations to plan scenarios for the future.

KDVI’s personality and behavior instruments have proved highly effective in improving a team's understanding of its own dynamics, functional or dysfunctional. They give you a better understanding of why you react to your colleagues in certain ways, and how you can relate to others differently and more effectively.
