Creating Coaching Cultures

Culture is the most profound force in an organization, yet also the most intangible. Cultural norms can be spoken or unspoken, overt or hidden. Culture influences whether an executive succeeds or fails, and whether a company competes effectively in the marketplace. Building and maintaining the right culture can make or break an organization.

We help organizations to establish and nurture a performance-oriented culture that improves individual performance and, in turn, contributes to its overall success. We can help you broaden your portfolio with coaching-related subjects to build human and social capital. Executives who are offered coaching opportunities through their organizations are more likely to run high-performance teams and innovative, entrepreneurial organizations.

Coaching Culture Workshops
At KDVI, we have deep understanding of how organizational culture operates and have created sophisticated yet practical diagnostic tools to uncover how organizational culture plays out in daily working life. The periodic assessment and modification of corporate culture is a key to success as organizations adapt to an increasingly turbulent external environment.

Our culture workshops, based on feedback from our Organizational Culture Audit (OCA), are designed to raise your awareness of the cultural strengths and weaknesses of your organization and determine what steps to take to facilitate change. With our clinical orientation, we are able to determine how cultural parameters nourish organizational health and accelerate organizational strategy or debilitate it through culture drag.

The KDVI consulting and coaching portfolio covers mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring. Taking into account the psychodynamic/systemic forces underlying change initiatives, we work with you to determine priorities, and the timing and sequencing of change efforts.

Although culture is hard to change, as a leader, you can influence it over time. We help you to see its current state, and whether cultural behaviors are helping or hindering effectiveness. In these transformation efforts, KDVI also identifies hidden liabilities, hazards of changing things that shouldn't be changed.
