About

KDVI is a multidisciplinary, management and leadership consulting firm that helps organizations navigate successfully the currents of change. We have a truly global outlook, our partners having worked in more than 40 countries. We assist our clients in developing a road map for company-wide leadership development processes and organizational change and transformation efforts. In our work, we use a clinical orientation, drawing on our deep understanding of the psychodynamic/systemic forces that influence people and organizations. At the core is our unique group intervention technique - a comprehensive initiative designed to unleash the spirit, trust, commitment, and creativity in our clients’ organizations and create an environment where collaboration and teamwork occur naturally.

At KDVI, we help transform the way leaders lead, taking a psychodynamic/systemic approach integrating insights from psychoanalysis, short-term dynamic psychotherapy, developmental psychology, open systems theory, network contagion, group dynamics, motivational interviewing, family systems, paradoxical intervention, appreciative inquiry, and management theory.

We are dedicated to assisting organizations, and the people who work within them, to become healthier and more effective. We are also committed to helping to create companies with self-aware individuals, and accountable, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented teams. We use a wide range of learning strategies, including personal and group coaching/consulting, to help organizations grow and develop .

Above all, we are committed to creating authentizotic organizations—interesting, stimulating, and energizing places to work where people feel and perform at their best. We champion values like integrity, personal growth and development, equal opportunity, excellence, and fun. We work in partnership with our clients to diagnose and determine interventions that create value and make for authentic leadership.

The principals at KDVI advise CEOs and other senior executives on people, teams, culture, and organizational issues. Combining a solid understanding of business issues with deep knowledge of the human psychology and the psychodynamics of groups/organizations, we have been highly effective in working with top executives, top executive teams, and organizations. We serve as advisors and sounding boards to CEOs on issues and challenges they rarely, if ever, discuss with others.

In addition, KDVI has a strong research background. Professor Manfred Kets de Vries has published hundreds of articles, case studies, and instruments and more than 30 books on the clinical orientation to leadership and management. Our group intervention technique has been adopted by institutions around the world. In our advisory roles, the principals reached touched thousands of people and hundreds of organizations.
